Iyer Spine
A spine MRI report is written for other physicians. It can leave you holding a page of unfamiliar terms, more worried than when you started, and often facing a long wait before anyone sits down and explains what it means.
Dr. Sravisht Iyer reads your images himself. He studied biomedical engineering at Johns Hopkins, earned his MD with honors at Harvard Medical School and MIT, completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the Hospital for Special Surgery — the nation's top-ranked orthopedic hospital, where he is now an attending spine surgeon — and his spine fellowship at Rush University. His practice centers on minimally invasive spine surgery, and careful reading of imaging is the foundation of all of it.
Share your MRI, CT, X-ray or radiology report, and tell him what concerns you. He will review the study personally and write back — walking you through your anatomy, what he sees, what it likely means, and what he would consider next.

Dr. Iyer examines your imaging and any supporting material you share, and writes you a personalized response in plain language — your anatomy, the key findings, and anything that gives him pause. The aim is clarity and confidence about your condition, not a one-line verdict.
If his response raises further questions, you can write back to him directly about your imaging. And if you'd like to explore treatment options in more depth, you're welcome to arrange a consultation — virtual or in person — through the appointment concierge on this site or with our office.
Please follow the upload instructions on the next step. Photos or PDF exports of your study and report work well, as do DICOM files. The clearer the material, the more Dr. Iyer can tell you.
Once your material is uploaded, Dr. Iyer will respond within 7 business days.

The review fee is $150.00. Your card is authorized when you submit and charged only once Dr. Iyer completes and releases his response — if he is unable to review your study, the authorization is released and you are not charged.
